Job Description
The Perioperative Circulator RN plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This role requires clinical knowledge and judgment to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients in the perioperative environment. Responsibilities include direct and indirect nursing care in the operating room, ongoing evaluation and documentation of care, and individualizing patient care based on health status, age, and procedure.
Work Schedule
- Shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Call shifts required
- Holiday shifts required if applicable
- Minimum 6+ months Level I experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Excellent understanding of AORN Standards
- Perioperative nursing experience
