CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Travel Contract

Location: Santa Maria, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Radiology/CT Technologist for a travel contract. The role involves performing all X-ray and CT imaging studies. Work schedule is typically Monday through Friday with 8-hour day shifts. Weekend and holiday work may be required based on facility needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• ARRT (RT) with CT certification
• Fluoroscopy license
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification

Work Environment & Equipment

• Imaging modalities include X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound (US) with some exceptions for perinatal imaging
• Use of Cerner EMR, DR PACS, and Phillips equipment
• Radiology department staffed with a supervisor and 24/7 Radiologic Technologist coverage
• Hospitalist and Intensivist physicians available in-house
• Pharmacy services available 24/7
• No IV team support

Additional Information

• Shift lengths for Radiology/CT are typically 10 or 12 hours, but this position is 8-hour day shifts
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required depending on operational needs
• Imaging performed includes all X-ray and CT studies; MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound are handled by other specialized techs
