CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - California
Location
- San Andreas, CA
- Small, quaint area approximately 1 hour from Sacramento and 2 hours from San Francisco
- Near recreational sites: New Hogan Lake (boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, camping) and historic California Caverns
Job Details
- Specialty: XR/CT Tech
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (40 hours/week)
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Call requirement: 1 day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM the next day
- Holidays and weekends required
Facility Overview
- 25-bed critical access hospital
- Services: inpatient acute care, outpatient services, emergency services, three Specialty Care Centers, five community Medical Centers
- Not a trauma or teaching facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R))
- Certified CT Technologist (ARRT (CT))
- IV Certification
- BLS Certification
- Radiology Technologist experience
Orientation & Training
- Orientation occurs once per month; start dates must align with orientation schedule
- Orientation includes classroom training, mask fitting, badge and HR paperwork, department tours, floor-specific competencies, workplace violence training, and hands-on experience with a preceptor
- Pre-orientation modules (ACE and My Journey) should be completed prior to starting if possible

- IV pumps: Alaris
- Cardiac monitors: GE
- Medication dispensing system: Omnicell
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Additional Information
- Dress code: No hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweat jackets
- Parking: Free designated employee lot
- Cafeteria: Open for breakfast and lunch; vending machines available
