Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12 hours
Job Description
- Provide care to critically ill patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
- Manage a variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases.
- Maintain professional nursing standards.
- Supervise CNAs, SNAs, LPNs, or other healthcare workers as assigned.
Unit Details
- ICU with 16 beds.
- Trauma Level III.
- Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner.
- Dress code: Grey scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, specifically in surgical and cardiac care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Michigan.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with open heart surgery returns.
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
Additional Information
- This position involves 12-hour shifts during nights.
- Supervisory responsibilities over support staff.
- The ICU provides care for a broad spectrum of critical and life-saving procedures.
