CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Fremont, California

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day and Evening shifts available
• Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Schedule:

  • Shifts start at 8:00 AM, 3:30 PM, or 11:00 AM
  • Two technologists on duty at all times
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday work requires flexibility
  • On weekends worked, one weekday off is provided
• Call/Standby: None

Work Environment

• Department has 3 CT scanners (GE equipment preferred)
• Must float/cover both X-ray and CT areas
• Imaging studies primarily include head, abdomen, and pelvis
• No assistance with procedures or IV starts required
• Radiologist coverage in-house until 6 PM; after hours coverage is external
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) on site
• Uses Centricity PACS for tracking
• Lead technologist available 24/7
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs (not provided but some available at hospital)
• Orientation includes a unit tour and one week of training
• Must be flexible and adaptable to department needs

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Fluoroscopy license (California FLUORO license)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• GE scanner experience preferred

This position is suitable for a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and CT specialty credentials, comfortable working in a busy imaging department with multiple scanners and flexible scheduling needs.
