CT Technologist Travel Position
Location: Syracuse, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (Thursday - Saturday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Job Summary
Seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment. Experience with GE equipment preferred. Familiarity with EPIC EHR system is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current CT Technologist license/certification appropriate for New York state.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must have completed specialty-specific competency testing within the past year.
- Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard CT Technologist competency required.
- Preferred: Experience with GE CT scanners and McKesson systems.
Required Certifications and Documentation
- BLS certification (front and back of card required).
- License/certificate verification dated within 30 days of start.
- Fit test (specific to certain states, e.g., Iowa).
- Specialty exam completed within the last year.
- Proof of vaccinations or immunity:
- MMR (2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
- Hepatitis B (must have started vaccination series prior to start)
- Varicella (1 vaccination or IgG titer)
- COVID-19 vaccine or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- Influenza vaccine for the current flu season or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test within required timeframe; chest x-ray if positive TB.
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (including methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates).
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check covering federal, nationwide, and county records for the last 7 years, including SSN verification and alias checks.
- Employment verifications for the last 7 years.
- Education verification (highest level of academic education or equivalent).
- Exclusion screenings: EPLS, OIG/GSA, NSO (dated within 30 days of start).
- Signed forms on file prior to start:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- System Access Form (must be completed and uploaded one week before start)
Additional Requirements
- Resume and skills checklist within the past year.
- Two professional references.
- Trinity-specific Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year.
- Skills checklist provided by the agency for clinical contractors.
