Description

Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Night (4x9 hours, 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday - Thursday)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule: 4 nights per week, 9-hour shifts (10:00 PM to 7:30 AM), Monday through Thursday
  • Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients required; neonates and infants preferred
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings required; NICU and PICU preferred
  • Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
  • Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC certified
  • ARRT CT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT)
  • State license verification required (primary source verification within 30 days of start)
  • Education verification and High School Diploma/GED verification required
  • National technical certification as applicable (ARRT CT required for CT Tech)
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
  • Pass/Fail testing (EPIC or Dysrhythmia/EKG) may be required depending on specialty/unit
  • Additional certifications may be required based on unit (verify with program management)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
  • Experience across multiple patient age groups and care settings as noted above
  • Prior travel experience not required

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Social Security Card (required for badge issuance)
  • Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including aliases, social security trace, criminal, federal court, sex offender, and education verification
  • Foreign equivalency education evaluation if education was obtained outside the U.S.
  • Transcript or diploma copy for highest education level (if applicable)
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
  • Immunizations and health documents including:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B titer or declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • Fit mask test completed within current calendar year (N95 respirators approved)
  • Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
  • Verification of all employment within last 5 years through third-party vendor
  • Two supervisory references from clinical assignments within last 24 months (one within 12 months)
  • Annual skills checklist with one-week grace period for renewal

Facility-Specific Requirements

  • Strict photo requirements for badge (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing pose)
  • Completion and upload of Health History Form prior to clearance
  • Review and sign floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgement form
  • Completion of Workday login and onboarding tasks prior to start
  • EPIC test required for allied health and RN candidates (2 attempts allowed, 3rd attempt requires approval)

Additional Notes

  • The client enforces a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Compliance documents must be completed by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date
  • Candidates must be flexible with scheduling
  • Fingerprinting required only for Home Health and Long-Term Care positions (not applicable here)

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT CT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT)
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Experience working with Adolescent patients
  • Experience working with Adult patients
  • Experience working with Geriatric patients
  • Experience in an Inpatient setting
  • Experience in an Outpatient setting
