CT Technologist I

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
  • On call: 1x per month

Required Qualifications

  • CT Technologist experience with 1 year of experience
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Role Overview

  • Entry-level CT technologist role under immediate to general supervision and mentorship
  • Supports diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures for adult and pediatric patients
  • Works in a variety of care settings, including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with ordered exams
  • Use specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform procedures
  • Complete post-procedure review and ensure documentation and technical quality meet protocol and accreditation standards
  • Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
  • Perform quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and routine equipment maintenance
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities

  • Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and initiative

Education

  • Required: Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular or radiologic technology program
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher
