Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Newnan, Georgia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 12 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Academy of Pediatrics
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Must work assigned holidays if they fall during the contract, based on the holiday schedule in the source
• Maximum requested time off: 7 days
• Full compliance is required to start on time
• Photo ID required
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and flu documentation or declination as specified in the source
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Code of conduct acknowledgement and dress/professional appearance policy review required
