CAT Scan Tech

Job Overview

Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Employment type: Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Every Wednesday and Thursday, 7pm to 7am; every other weekend, 7am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in New Hampshire
CT Technologist (3 years of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS

Role Highlights

Perform CT procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor
Work independently in a fast-paced environment
Perform interventional cases, CT angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction
Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast
Assist with interventional procedures
Support patient preparation, positioning, and scan acquisition
Coordinate daily workload, including inpatient scheduling and emergency department prioritization
Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, organized work area
Participate in on-call, holiday, weekend, and backup coverage as needed

Additional Notes

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
The department may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
