Registered Nurse — ER

Job Overview

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 12 weeks

Schedule & Assignment Details

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Call: None
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
RTO limit: Maximum 7 days
Holidays: May be required to work major holidays during the assignment period
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Georgia
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Certification
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
Color blind testing
Competency exam
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam

Compliance & Onboarding

Full compliance is required to start on time
Background check must be complete before start
Education verification is required
Work history verification of the most recent employer is required
Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
2 clinical references required
Photo ID required
Physical exam required
Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
TB questionnaire required
Drug screen required
Flu vaccine or declination required
Tdap is highly recommended
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation are required

Additional Notes

Unit accepts first-time travelers
Clinical review is case-by-case before final manager decision
