Visual Monitor Unit RN

Location

Phoenix, Arizona

Specialty

Med-surg/telemetry unit with a behavioral health component

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Every 3rd weekend
Holidays based on unit coverage

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS
ACLS
2 years of core experience in the specialty
Level 1 trauma experience
Cerner experience
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam before acceptance
Must complete day 1 pass/fail SIMs lab and orientation requirements

Preferred

Psychiatric experience

Other Important Details

First-time travelers are welcome
Cannot work another assignment/contract at the same time
Must have been away from CommonSpirit for 12 months as permanent staff to be considered
Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
Travelers must have their own vehicle
Floating may include ED psych holds and possibly med-surg floors
Unit uses video monitoring and has rare physical restraints
Teaching hospital environment with nursing students present
