Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care, support surgical teams, maintain sterile environments, and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures
Perform circulating nurse duties efficiently during surgeries
Position and prepare patients for procedures
Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
Complete Safe Surgery checklist and required documentation
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
Serve as a communication liaison between surgical team and patient families
Assist with supplies, instruments, and equipment management
Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
Document patient care accurately and timely
Requirements
Active RN license (SC or Compact License preferred)
Minimum 1 year recent OR RN experience
Strong circulating experience required
BLS Certification required
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Experience with multiple surgical specialties
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
