Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Downey, CA

Facility: Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center

Shift / Hours: 12-Hour Nights (36 hours/week)

Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks

Expected Start Date: August 27, 2026

Pay Range: $1,884.88 – $2,217.50 / week (Local Contractors Allowed)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week assignment at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients in a specialized rehabilitation environment, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, and treatment plans for Med Surg patients on 12-hour night shifts.
• Administer medications, perform clinical treatments, and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to support patient recovery and safety goals.
• Maintain compliance with facility standards, safety policies, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active California RN License (BSN preferred).
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, MAB, and LA Fire Safety certifications required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience (Trauma Level I, Magnet, or Teaching Facility experience preferred).
• Health Requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination (or valid exemption).

5. References: Two supervisory or managerial references from within the past 2 years.
6. Photo ID: Driver’s License or Badge Photo (Selfie accepted).
