Weekly Pay: $2,009.83 – $2,364.50 / week

Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 Nights (36 hours/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment at Los Angeles General Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will provide rapid triage, comprehensive patient assessment, stabilization, and trauma/medical resuscitation in a high-volume, fast-paced Level 1 Trauma environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver rapid emergency care across a full spectrum of acuity, managing trauma activations, cardiac events, stroke alerts, psychiatric crises, and multi-system conditions.
• Perform rapid triage, continuous assessment, stabilization, and medical resuscitation.
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously using advanced critical care skills and sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver timely, life-saving patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Emergency Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city.
• Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • NIHSS Certification
  • MAB or CPI Certification
  • LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City certified)
• Compliance: Must complete LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to assignment start date.
