Location: Torrance, CA

Weekly Pay: $1,901.88 – $2,237.50 / week

Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 Nights (36 hours/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will provide direct, comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and specialized care for acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor, interpret, and analyze telemetry cardiac rhythms; rapidly recognize dysrhythmias and intervene appropriately.
• Perform thorough physical assessments, formulate nursing care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and specialized treatments following facility protocols.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac health, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Telemetry/Cardiac experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility within a metropolitan setting.
• Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • NIHSS Certification
  • MAB or CPI Certification
  • LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City certified)
• Compliance: Must complete LA County Employee Health Clearance and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to assignment start date.
