**Required Experience and Qualifications:** 1. Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school. 2. Meets requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). 3. Graduate of a formal radiology technology program. **Preferred Experience and Qualifications:** 1. Up to one year of experience in CT is desirable. 2. Certified in CT. **Certifications and Licensure:** 1. Current ARRT license, with continuing education credits as required by ARRT. 2. Up-to-date certification in CT as required by ARRT. 3. Current CPR certification. **Skills and Abilities:** 1. Proficiency in operating CT equipment according to manufacturer and departmental standards. 2. Knowledge of pulse sequences, technical factors, and proper coil types for CT scans. 3. Ability to start and maintain IVs, administer contrast materials, and monitor patient conditions. 4. Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures and risks to patients and their families. 5. Good command of protocols, sequences, and technical factors for demonstrating anatomical structures and pathologies. 6. Ability to anticipate patient needs and ensure patient comfort and confidentiality. 7. Proficient in data entry for the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS. 8. Capable of troubleshooting CT equipment issues and recognizing system malfunctions. 9. Ability to manage clerical duties and perform quality assurance tasks. 10. Capable of supervising and instructing student technologists. 11. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and manipulate patients and equipment. 12. Strong mental capabilities including reasoning, memory retention, mathematical skills, and language abilities (reading, writing, speaking).
