Required Years of Experience: 1.5 Years of Experience: 1.5 Previous Charge Experience: - Community Hospital Experience: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, NRP Advanced, STABLE*, NRP or NRP Advanced Skills Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, APGAR scoring, Arterial line management, Assist with lumbar puncture, Attend High Risk Deliveries, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Conscious Sedation, Developmental Care, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Gastroschisis/Omphalocele, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High Frequency Ventilation, Hyperbilirubinemia, ICP monitoring, Insulin administration, Invasive Hemodynamic monitoring, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes, Meconium Aspiration, Mother/Baby*, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonatal Sepsis, Neonates 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU III, NICU IV*, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oscillators, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Patient/family teaching, Pediatrics, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Respiratory distress syndrome, Seizure disorders, Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Steroids, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surfactants, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Thermoregulation, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Vapotherm, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts* Travelers University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation. License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once perm license applications have been submitted. 2 supervisor references required
