Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

• 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation (IP Rehab) unit
• Average of 12 staff per shift including Director, Lead PT, Physical Therapists, and Physical Therapist Assistants
• Day shift staffed with Director, Lead PT, 4-5 PTs, and 5-6 PTAs; no night shifts
• Patient ratios vary based on volume
• Equipment includes treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Work Schedule & Shifts

• Dayshift only, 8-hour shifts
• One weekend per month required; weekdays off provided to balance schedule
• Must be able to work varied day shift hours
• Total hours per week: 36

Patient Population & Procedures

• Inpatient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations
• Schedule depends on surgical volume with weekend and holiday rotations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
