Description

Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Shift: Evening, Monday to Friday, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (09:40 AM – 10:10 PM)
Weekend call rotation and possible holiday call responsibilities
Specialty: Neurosurgery (Tier 6)
Required neuro experience including care for aneurysm clipping, cervical and lumbar fusion, laminectomy, craniotomy for tumor, subdural hematoma, acoustic cases, and VP shunts
Work environment includes Hybrid OR with advanced equipment such as sonopet, bone scalpel, bipolar devices (with irrigation), and microscopes (Mitaka, Leica, Kinevo, Pentero)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Neurosurgery experience
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
