Description
Endoscopy RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8s, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- No call, weekends, or holidays
- May occasionally work a late shift if needed
- Primary setting is pre-op and post-op recovery for a busy GI lab
- May float within the service line
- Average daily census: 60 patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Procedure monitoring experience
- Experience recovering monitored anesthesia care (MAC) sedation
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- PACU or ED experience
- GI knowledge
- Outpatient endoscopy center experience
- Pre/post-procedure experience
Clinical Systems
- EPIC charting experience required
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: navy blue
