RN Labor and Delivery
Location
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Job Summary
Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with a range of health needs, from simple to complex.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 2 or more years of total travel experience
- BLS
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advance Provider or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Care for an assigned group of patients
- Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
- Assist with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patient data and intervene as needed
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
- Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families
- Coordinate referrals and delegate tasks to support staff
