NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Focus

NICU and couplet care experience required
Pediatric experience is a plus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

Background check covering the past 7 years, including all locations lived/worked, all aliases, and required searches
Education verification of highest level earned
State-specific Missouri search requirement
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
National tech certification verification
NURSYS verification
Pass/fail testing administered onsite
Color blindness testing
Competency exam and medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Clear passport-style photo for badge
Influenza verification form and any applicable exemption form
E-learning completion and transcript submission
Physical exam
Mask fit test
TB screening documentation
Immunization/documentation requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, and seasonal flu
