NICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Focus
- NICU and couplet care experience required
- Pediatric experience is a plus
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Background check covering the past 7 years, including all locations lived/worked, all aliases, and required searches
- Education verification of highest level earned
- State-specific Missouri search requirement
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- National tech certification verification
- NURSYS verification
- Pass/fail testing administered onsite
- Color blindness testing
- Competency exam and medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Clear passport-style photo for badge
- Influenza verification form and any applicable exemption form
- E-learning completion and transcript submission
- Physical exam
- Mask fit test
- TB screening documentation
- Immunization/documentation requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, and seasonal flu
- Negative 10-panel drug screen
- Employment application
- Annual skills checklist
