CT Tech

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT (CT)

Experience and Work Setting

  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Local candidates are accepted
  • Experience with GE, PAC, and Siemens
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • 8 rooms
  • 1:2 ratio

Pre-Start Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • E-Verify or attestation
  • Background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check
  • HHS/OIG check
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit test within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation during flu season
  • Employment application
  • Confidentiality agreement
  • Code of conduct attestation
  • Conflict of interest disclosure form
  • Sexual harassment and misconduct policy attestation
  • Cornerstone module attestation
  • Traveler unit orientation packet
  • ID proofing completion
  • TB questionnaire, if there is a history of past positive TB test

Notes for Candidates

  • Onsite pass/fail testing is required, and an EKG study guide must be reviewed before start
  • Badge and pager return procedures apply at the end of the assignment
