Night shift
3x12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Weekend shifts required: 8 per 6-week schedule period
Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities

Contract Length

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Clinical Experience

Cardiovascular, medical, and surgical ICU care
Post-cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
Post heart and liver transplant care
ECMO support
CVPACU recovery workflow
Structural heart and vascular procedures
TEE/cardioversion recovery
Central line placement support for temporary line needs
Impella, IABP, LVAD, and CRRT care

Core Skills

Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
CVP, pulmonary artery/Swan Ganz, and arterial line monitoring
Cardiac drip and vasoactive drip titration
Ventilator, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and tracheostomy care
Chest tube insertion/removal assistance
Blood product administration
IV insulin protocols
Renal failure, hemodialysis, and urine output monitoring
Infection prevention and isolation precautions

Compliance Notes

No pending license accepted
No on-call requirement
RTO limit: no more than 7 days
Navy blue scrubs
EPIC charting
