Job Overview

Location: Warrenton, Virginia
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Float requirement: Rare float to a unit appropriate to skill or as a “set of hands”

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
CPI

Role Details

Emergency department RN role
Must be able to perform core ER tasks, including phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKG, splinting, wound care, and transporting
Self-motivated and self-sufficient
Team-oriented
Patient population includes all ages

Facility Setting

Acute care hospital with surgical services, a 24-hour emergency department, medical imaging, ICU, orthopedics and spine services, cardiac catheterization lab, robotic-assisted surgery, and a family birthing center/intermediate care nursery
