Progressive Care Unit RN

Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Schedule

• 3x12
• 7p-7a
• Weekend and holiday rotation

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Previous nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Provide direct patient care, including rounds, treatments, and care coordination
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
• Educate patients and families
• Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately
• Participate in quality improvement activities and documentation monitoring

Additional Information

• Must communicate clearly and respectfully, collaborate with the care team, and demonstrate computer system/application familiarity or ability to be trained
• Must be able to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
