Overview

Registered Nurse role in Lynchburg, Virginia
Travel/contract assignment
13-week contract
Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
60-mile radius rule applies
Nights are also listed as an option: 3x12 or 4x12, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Intermediate Care (1 year of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience

Clinical Details

Floating may include Intermediate and MedSurg units
Travelers float first as needed

- Specialty-specific skills checklist
- Minimum 2 manager/charge references from the past 2 years
- RN license verification
- Copies of all required certifications

Additional Notes

Biweekly orientation on Mondays
Any-color scrubs are allowed
Professional appearance required
Child-friendly print tops are allowed
Scrub/lab coat allowed
Nicotine-free campus
Color blind testing is required
A competency exam is required
A medication test/pharmacology competency exam is required
