Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
Driver's License
Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS from AHA only

Key Responsibilities

Scrub electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations
Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care if needed
Support diagnostic and interventional procedures
Clean equipment and supplies used in special procedures
Train students and other technologists in special procedures
Perform routine department duties when not assigned to special procedures

Work Environment

Cardiovascular patient population
3 EP rooms
Uses EP procedure room equipment
Must be able to stand for up to six hours while wearing protective lead and PPE
Requires handling angiography and interventional equipment, processing digital images, lifting and transporting patients, and responding to emergency or stressful situations
