Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
  • Driver's License
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS from AHA only

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care if needed
  • Support diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Clean equipment and supplies used in special procedures
  • Train students and other technologists in special procedures
  • Perform routine department duties when not assigned to special procedures

Work Environment

  • Cardiovascular patient population
  • 3 EP rooms
  • Uses EP procedure room equipment
  • Must be able to stand for up to six hours while wearing protective lead and PPE
  • Requires handling angiography and interventional equipment, processing digital images, lifting and transporting patients, and responding to emergency or stressful situations
