ICU RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Idaho Falls, Idaho
13-week contract
Night shift
36 hours per week

Schedule

3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Every other weekend
Floating may be required to ED and step-down
On-call only when census drops

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Idaho
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ventilator management
ABG interpretation
Vasoactive drip titration
Hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred / Welcome

TNCC
ABLS

Unit Details

29-bed ICU
Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, occasionally 1:3 for patients ready to leave ICU
No CNAs
One tele monitor
Navy blue scrubs required

Clinical Skills / Experience Needed

Vent management
ABG interpretation
Vasoactive drip titration
Hemodynamic monitoring

Procedures on Unit

Intubations
Central line placement
Bronchoscopy
Bedside trach placement
PEG tube placement
