Stepdown Cardiac

Overview

Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Scheduled hours: 36 per week
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Experience: Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
Recent experience: Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
Travel experience: One completed travel assignment
Certifications: ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense; BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense; NIHSS
License: Valid RN license in Tennessee
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Assignment Details

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
On-call: Not required
RTO restriction: Time off cannot be taken as a full week at a time

Facility Notes

Epic implementation is scheduled during the assignment window, with no RTO allowed from 2/08/27 to 3/31/27
Candidate must complete required orientation and review assigned nursing documents before start
Seasonal flu and COVID vaccination or approved declination documentation is required
