Cardiac Cath Lab / Neuro Intervention Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract assignment in El Paso, Texas
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, starting between 6:00–8:00 AM depending on scheduled cases
• Typical end time for non-call days is 5:00–6:00 PM
• On-call coverage is 24/7 with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-time travelers are accepted

Role Focus

• Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Intervention are required
• Interventional Radiology is preferred
• The role supports STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, balloon pump insertions, and interventional radiology
• Circulating experience is required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate's degree in applied science
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience including support for STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, and balloon pump insertions
• Neuro Intervention experience
• Circulating experience
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Additional Notes

• The assignment is based in the Cath Lab and reports to the supervisor of the Cath Lab
• The technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and interventional radiology patients across the age continuum
