Cardiac Care/ Tele Night Shift

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Morganton, North Carolina
• Night shift: 7p-7a

Unit / Setting

• Mostly med-surg / med-tele overflow unit
• Some simple cardiac patients, including stable chest pain rule outs, A Fib RVRs, and CHF
• Occasionally has Cardizem drips and amiodarone drips
• Stroke rule out patients also go to this unit
• Patient ratio: 5-6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience (1 year of experience)
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiology experience
• RN license verification
• NURSYS verification
• Competency Exam
• Medication Test / Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable
• Minimum of 2 clinical references dated within a year of start
