NICU RN Travel/Contract Job

Overview

  • Role: NICU

  • Weekly hours: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Required, within scope of practice

  • RTO: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1.5 years of experience)
  • Recent experience: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • License: Valid RN license in Indiana
  • Certifications:
    • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NRP
    • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Competencies:
    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
    • Unit competency exam
    • Color blind testing
  • Documents / screenings:
    • Valid Driver’s License or Passport
    • Background check
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM
    • HHS/OIG
    • Official transcript or diploma
    • Education verification
    • Physical exam
    • Fit mask
    • Negative TB or chest X-ray
    • TB questionnaire
    • Rubeola (measles) immunity documentation
    • Mumps immunity documentation
    • Rubella immunity documentation
    • Hepatitis B documentation
    • Varicella immunity documentation
    • Negative 10-panel drug screen
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption
    • References: minimum of 2 recent employment references
