Description
Critical Care Float
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington.
- Start date: 10/12
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- Every other weekend required
- Float scope: all critical care units
- First-timers are not accepted
- Locals are accepted
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Pending license is not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- 3 years of Critical Care Float experience
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Mechanical ventilator management
- Conscious sedation experience
- Trauma experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
- ICP
- PA Lines
Additional Notes
- Holiday RTO: must work 2 of the 3 holidays; Christmas RTO is not available
- RTO must be submitted before facility submission; additional RTO will not be granted after offer
- References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN
- Telemetry competency testing is required
- Epic is used for charting
- Daily onsite parking is available at additional cost
