MS/Tele
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Point Pleasant, West Virginia
- Day shift, 3x12 hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Based on the MS Floor
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in West Virginia
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Clinical Responsibilities / Experience Signals
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Telemetry monitoring on the unit and remote monitoring
- Rapid Response/Code team support
- Feeding tube care and management
- CBI
- Tube feeding
- Accessing and managing ports
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw
- Peripheral line care/management
- Phlebotomy
- PICC line management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- CVA care
- Cardiac gtts, no titration
