Description
Transplant RN
Role Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in an outpatient transplant clinic.
- Schedule: 5x8 days, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
- No call and no weekend requirement; holiday coverage as needed.
- Float scope: to other transplant unit(s).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 2 years of transplant experience.
- Transplant experience within the last year.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- One completed travel assignment.
- Driver's License.
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated.
Unit / Clinical Setting
- Outpatient clinic specializing in pediatric pre/post liver and small bowel transplant, hepatology.
- RN supports patient care coordination, including labs, imaging, phone triage, and communication with the multidisciplinary team.
Additional Notes
- Local rate applies within 60 miles of the facility.
- Flu vaccine required for all employees.
- May come into contact with COVID patients.
