Description

MS/Tele Float

Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:45–19:15
  • 36 hours per week
  • Start date: 3–4 weeks out per compliance tier, with biweekly starts
  • First-timers accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • IV insertion skills
  • Experience with lift devices
  • Must work every other weekend, or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum
  • Holiday rotation required
  • No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract
  • Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius

Preferred

  • NIH

Float Scope

  • Floats to all Medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro
  • Nurses float between medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units

Additional Details

  • Ratios: 1:5–6 on days and weekends; 1:6 on nights
  • On-call not required
  • Block scheduling not accepted
  • Special requirements include lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue
  • Charting: EPIC
  • Free parking
