ICU
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- Based in a 23-bed ICU
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Start date: 11/16
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Ratio: 1:2
- Locals accepted
- Pending license not accepted, but compact license accepted
- RTO limit: no more than 6 days
- Guaranteed hours: facility can call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of critical care experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
- Direct supervisor references
Preferred
- TNCC
- Experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities
Unit Details
- RN / ICU caring for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with focus on cardiology
- Floating to other ICUs and boarder areas should be expected
- Magnet, teaching, and Level I Trauma facility
Additional Notes
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend, with flexibility for unit needs
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- Scrub color: blue; facility provided as needed or own solid color
