CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Montour Falls, NY 14865 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital – CT Scan Unit
• Job Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: May 6, 2024
• End Date: August 5, 2024
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts (rotating schedule)
• Hours: Average 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1830–$1970
• Schedule Example: Week 1: Mon & Tue 7:00pm–6:30am, Wed 7:00pm–12:30am, Sat 6:00pm–6:30am. Week 2: Sun 6:00pm–6:30am, Mon & Tue 7:00pm–6:30am, Wed 7:00pm–12:30am, then off until the following Monday.

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Active CT Technologist certification (ARRT preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or in a radiology technologist role
• Proficient in both CT and X-ray imaging procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to work overnight/night shifts as scheduled
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during all imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and radiology documentation
• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times
