Philadelphia MRI Technologist Job Details
- Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 (University City)
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based medical imaging department

MRI Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered in MRI
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities for MRI Technologist
- Perform a variety of MRI and MRA procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging
- Operate MRI scanners, RF coils, workstations, laser cameras, film processors, patient monitoring equipment, and MR injectors
- Assist radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures
- Screen patients for biomedical and metallic implants; obtain and review relevant medical history
- Educate and assist patients in understanding MRI procedures and preparation
- Follow established protocols for all MRI studies and maintain high standards of professionalism
- Participate in on-call, holiday, and weekend rotations as required
