CT Technologist Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour evening shifts

CT Technologist Qualifications
- Graduate of a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Scan Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging procedures
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification preferred
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT scan procedures according to established protocols from physicians or radiologists
- Operate CT scanner to produce high-quality cross-sectional anatomical images for diagnostic purposes
- Ensure safe and effective operation of CT equipment, following all hospital safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with radiology and healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care in a hospital setting
