MRI Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a healthcare setting
At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
Registered Technologist (R) (MR) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Key Responsibilities for MRI Technologist Jobs

Perform MRI studies in accordance with radiology protocols
Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Prepare scan room and MRI equipment for procedures
Position patients, coils, and equipment for optimal imaging results
