MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist (hospital or clinical setting)
• Credentialing – must have one of the following:
  • ARRT R.T. (R) certification (MRI registry required within 12 months)
  • ARRT (MRI) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MRI Technologist (annual renewal)
  • ARMRIT – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (renewed every 3 years)
  • CNMT (MRI)
• Act 73 screening recommended to begin same day as offer acceptance

Healthcare Responsibilities – MRI Technologist

• Operate advanced MRI equipment to produce diagnostic medical images for physician review
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
