• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – CT / Radiology / Diagnostic Imaging
• Start Date: 03/02/2026
• End Date: 08/29/2026
• Duration: 180-day assignment
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: Mid shift; 10-hour shifts (see schedule below)
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Sun & Mon 11:00am–11:30pm; Tue & Wed 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,560 – $2,740
• Additional Scheduling Notes: Holidays, on-call, and callback as needed per unit requirements

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience (acute care/hospital preferred)
• Required: Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Certification: Active ARRT (in good standing)
• License: New York State licensure (must be obtained prior to start)
• BLS: American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Equipment: Siemens CT scanner experience (minimum 6 months)
• EMR: EPIC experience highly desired (1+ year preferred)
• Preferred: Injection certification (or willingness to complete during orientation)
• Preferred: Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
• Strong communication skills, patient-focused approach, and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare and radiology team

Responsibilities (Hospital CT / Diagnostic Imaging)

• Confirm patient identity and verify CT exam orders prior to scanning, following department policies, radiation safety, and patient safety standards
• Coordinate with physicians, radiologists, and the radiology team to deliver timely diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Prepare and educate patients on CT procedures to promote comfort, cooperation, and high-quality imaging
• Insert IVs and administer contrast per protocol and scope (as applicable)
• Position patients appropriately, including assisting patients with limited mobility using safe patient-handling practices
• Document exams accurately in EPIC, including image identification and completion details
• Ensure images are transmitted correctly to PACS and meet quality and compliance standards upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized CT scanning environment while supporting department workflow and patient throughput
