Job Details

• Location: Ticonderoga, NY (12883) — Upstate New York / Adirondacks
• Assignment Length: 16–32 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: August 16, 2026
• Setting: Hospital CT Scan Unit (inpatient/outpatient radiology)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Monday–Sunday rotation; every other weekend required; no block scheduling
• Employment Type: Travel (travel CT technologist, CT Tech travel assignment)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,440–$2,620

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in CT required (ARRT-CT); Radiography and Mammography certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting (5 years preferred)
• Prior travel assignment experience required (travel CT jobs experience)
• New York State license or proof of application with applied date (NYS license)
• NY injection certification required
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Recent EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable) — experience with EPIC charting and radiology workflow
• Flexibility to cover multiple modalities (CT, X-ray, Mammography); cross-train experience is a plus
• Reliable personal or rental transportation (public transportation not available). Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires November–April

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Philips Ingenuity 64 CT scanner and deliver high-quality diagnostic CT imaging with attention to image quality and dose optimization
• Perform X-ray exams using GE rooms with Fuji digital plates and Philips digital portable unit; assist as needed with mammography exams
• Document procedures, imaging results, and patient information accurately in EPIC EMR (radiology documentation, image reporting)
• Provide compassionate patient care, screening, and preparation for CT procedures (contrast administration per NY injection certification)
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient radiology workflow
• Adapt to a flexible schedule including every other weekend and occasional schedule adjustments to meet patient care needs
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and competency sessions as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and radiology safety standards (ALARA principles, infection control)
