• Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist / Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 — Philadelphia MRI jobs, Pennsylvania imaging jobs
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
• Shift: PM Shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)
• Hours: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (40 hours/week)
• Employment Type: Travel technologist / travel allied health
• Setting: Hospital, Outpatient, Clinic — general MRI services and outpatient imaging

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist required; MRI technologist experience preferred
• Registered Technologist (R) license required; ARRT (MR) certification required within 2 years from date of hire
• Registered Technologist (R) (MR) certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong patient communication, positioning, and safety skills; experience with outpatient and clinic MRI exams a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) following protocols established by Radiologists and imaging leadership
• Operate MRI scanner and related imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare scan room, coils, and equipment for each procedure and ensure MRI safety protocols are followed
• Position patients, coils, and equipment accurately; screen patients for MRI safety (implants, contraindications)
• Maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during scans
• Document procedures, maintain image quality control, and collaborate with radiology team members and technologists
