- Setting: Hospital – Imaging, CT Main Unit
- Assignment Type: Travel assignment (travel CT technologist / CT Tech)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 7 on / 7 off schedule (Night shift CT technologist)
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Systems / Technologies: Epic, PACS/DICOM experience preferred
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2440-$2620/week
Job Requirements – CT Tech / Radiologic Technologist
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license (required at time of submission)
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or similar clinical imaging setting
- Experience with contrast-enhanced CT protocols and cross-sectional imaging preferred
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record systems and PACS/DICOM workflow preferred
- Strong communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills for hospital imaging jobs
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during night shifts
Responsibilities – Hospital CT Technologist Duties
- Perform high-quality CT scans (head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, angiography and other protocols) according to physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient safety, radiation safety, and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients for contrast administration when indicated and in accordance with facility policy
- Operate CT scanner, optimize imaging parameters, and troubleshoot CT equipment as needed
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic and PACS/DICOM systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare team members to support inpatient and emergency department imaging needs
- Adhere to all hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality assurance practices
