This travel CT tech opportunity is based near Union Square (New York, NY 10003) and offers a low-volume, steady-paced hospital radiology environment. You will provide high-quality computed tomography and X-ray imaging services to a diverse patient population while collaborating with a supportive radiology team.

- Duration: 8 weeks
- Shift: Nights, Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380 - $2,550 per week
- Training Schedule: First 2 weeks: Tue–Fri, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Patient Caseload: Up to 20 patients per night (often less)
- Scrubs: Charcoal Grey
Top Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist (CT Tech) experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (in hand or with ETA)
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- IV Certification (required)
- Experience operating Siemens CT equipment (preferred)
- Proficiency performing X-rays and CT scans, including multiplanar reconstruction and CT angiography (CTA)
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds (with or without assistive devices)
- Epic charting experience preferred (not required)
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (no exemptions)
Responsibilities & Clinical Duties
- Independently perform CT and X-ray imaging for orthopedic patients across all age groups (pediatrics through geriatrics)
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, abdomen/pelvis, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Conduct exams in standard exam rooms and with portable equipment as needed
- Rotate across multiple departments within the hospital and assigned private sector areas
- Provide imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations in a hospital radiology setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Epic charting if experienced
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control throughout imaging procedures
- Adhere to hospital policies, radiology protocols, and regulatory requirements
