• Setting: Hospital – Level 1 Trauma Center (trauma center CT experience preferred)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (CT Tech travel)
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• End Date: July 11, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Friday–Saturday, 7:00pm–7:30am (Weekend Overnights)
• On Call: 2–3 call shifts per month
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2710-$2920

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification in CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• New York State CT Technologist license (must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist / CT Tech experience, with Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Injection therapy certification preferred (willing to obtain during orientation if needed)
• Experience with Siemens and Philips CT scanners preferred
• EPIC experience highly desired; familiarity with PACS and imaging workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication, patient-focused and compassionate, team-oriented

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam orders; ensure adherence to department safety protocols
• Perform high-quality CT imaging and protocol selection for trauma and emergency patients
• Coordinate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic information
• Prepare patients and explain CT procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Insert IVs and administer contrast media as indicated (per department policy)
• Position patients safely, including assistance for limited mobility and trauma patients
• Document exams accurately in EPIC/EHR and send images to PACS; maintain detailed patient records
• Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment and follow infection control procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, callback, and holiday coverage as required
